Proficient with MS Office, R and RStudio, ImageJ, Audacity, RavenPro, Stata, data entry, reference research, data analysis, problem solving and advanced multivariate and non-parametric statistics

 

Laboratory:

Trained in sterile lab practices, tissue transfer, lab prep, PCR and micropipette use, medicating and reading vitals on animals, assisting with emergency and standard animal treatment

 

Fieldwork:

Trained in classification of stream macroinvertebrates and fish, Northeastern US fungi, and New York shorebirds and plants, Rapid Bioassessment Protocol for rivers and streams, Piping Plover and Least Tern Stewardship (US Fish and Wildlife), Seabeach Amaranth and Knotweed Stewardship


Experienced with radio telemetry, ArcGIS, GPS tracking and orienteering, topographical map navigation, trapping mammals using various traps (culvert, clover, drop nets, rocket nets, etc.), ear and pit tagging, electrofishing, travel using government vehicles and ATVs with government driving license
